Request a feature
New user of the console here. Bought it for RMM, NOT for Connect or Deep Instinct. As a MSP I have other solutions for remote connectivity and antivirus that I don't want to change, hence will NOT use these features. Unused features take up a lot of noise on the screen.
3 primary suggestions - The main point is "Less is More" when it comes to drawing attention to key information points in the console:
1) Enable a feature at the console level (for all companies) to enable / disable the use of Deep Instinct entirely
2) Enable functionlity at the console level (for all companies) to enable / disable the use of Connect entirely
3) Clean up the console screen by removing extra text such as on the backup column, simply by removing the text "Agent is not installed". Leave it blank if there is no agent.
Now that MSP360 is moving into RMM, for MSP's who use you primarily for RMM, the backup agent will not be installed on 90% of endpoints IMHO.
I tried to mock up an example of my view, showing all the extra noise on the screen.
E.g., remove all the install buttons. While they make life simple, you already have the install functionality under the 3 dots on the right for each endpoint, and it would be more useful to highlight key data such as RMM warnings or backup status info, than to simply promote installing software on each endpoint (which is software that we don't want to install, in my example)
Hello ron709 and appreciate your feedback.
You can find a tiny icon on the top right corner of the screen that allows managing the content of the page you sent as example.
This way you can remove unnecessary columns from the page and focus on what really matters to you.
Hope this helps.
@aleksey - thank you for the tip. You're right - the column selector works great for one piece, hiding Deep Instinct. Thanks! Unfortunately it doesn't work for any of the rest.
So far I like what I see out of the company in terms of their support. I'm hopeful the product direction can keep up and be just as good! :)
Have a great day,
Rob
